PZI Jeans – Jeans for Curvy Women

I first learned about PZI Jeans when I saw them featured on Fox 5 Atlanta. (Great introduction to the jeans.)

I love the concept–make jeans that fit female bodies rather than making female bodies meet the jeans. One point that really struck me:

Many denim lines provide jeans to the junior market, however few denim lines market directly to the missy customer who wants the trend style in jeans without compromising comfort.

That explains so much to me about the challenge of finding jeans that fit at a discount store like Old Navy–even though they go to a size 20 (in store) the cut is for a junior, so the fit is weird.

I’m really excited to be able to add PZI Jeans as an advertiser on the site. I try to choose brands to feature on the site that I wear myself, or that have a mission that I want to support. I really like their mission and philosophy. And I LOVE the truly CURVY models they use throughout their website.

They have created a unique sizing parameter, so you need to take your measurements to determine where you fit in their size chart. They go up to a size 16, but it is not a traditional 16, so even if you think this may be too small for you, take a look at the measurement guidelines before you decide.  You can order them through the ad above (which will soon appear to the right), or you can find them at select MACY’S stores, retail chain stores and other fine retailers and boutiques.

I’m still waiting for my pair, but I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve taken them for a test drive.
